Not much that can beat a day like this!

Out with the Girls

Back with my second post today!
We are having a new fun challenge over at
The theme we have been playing with is Out with the Girls!
And now we are super excited to see what great ideas you have for your project.

I went a bit wild and crazy and mixed girls from Magnolia, Saturated Canary and from Whiff of Joy!
I guess this is a little me...shopping with my friends,
having a coffee and running around with our handbags, lol.
All of the ladies are coloured with Copics but I was so caught up with my colouring
that I forgot to write down which numbers I used :(
Anyway I got to use some metal, glitters and lovely flowers too on my side-step-card.

I hope you got some inspiration to join us in our 4 weeks long challenge
But if you didn't, just stop by the blog and soak up more wonderful inspiration from my sweet teamies.

Thank you so much for giving me a minute or two!

Take care out there and have fun crafting!

SweetStamps Roses

Hello and Welcome back to my little craftingplace!
Today I want to show you my card I made for this weeks challenge over at
And yes, you have guessed right the theme is Roses!
I used the lovely SweetCuts die, Stemmed Rose as a base for my card.
In the heart I used only the flowers and cut off the stem.

To make the red/black roses I take two papers and put them together,
the red on top and the black under.
Then I run them through my Cuttlebug with the SweetCuts Rose
and then very carefully peel of the edge of the red paper.
Ta da!
A two coloured rose with an embossed feeling!
You might wanna put some glue under if some of the little parts fall off.
But it really sticks well together since it's two layers pressed together.

Let us now see what you can come up with playing with the theme Roses!

You could win a $20 shopping spree for goodies at SweetStamps store by playing along with us!
Take a look at the gorgeous creations my teamies have made to inspire you!

See you soon!

A Friday card with Saturated Canary

Happy Friday to you all!
Or maybe I should say Happy weekend because mine has started!
I just love Fridays but who doesn't!
To have a couple of days off from work and be together with your family is quality time.
Well, even though my boys are not home so long on a Friday night we have at least a moment together were we sit down and eat and share some time.
Unfortunately we seldom are four nowdays at dinner since my eldest is doing a military training and are 400 kilometres from home. That means he doesn't even comes home every weekend.
It tear my heart but that's just what I have to get use to, not having them around at all time.
Life is that they should  try their own wings but I have to confess... it hurts...

Anyway, I have had time to make a card for no reason, yay!
And the choice fell on this new gorgeous fairy from Saturated Canary!

Coloured with Copics... of course, lol.
E000,00,11,21
YR61,65,68 E08
YG61,63,67

I decided to make this card for the Copic Marker Sweden Challenge: #5
and that's why my card is round.
And the colours we choosen to enter

The lovley border of butterflies is from Joy, Noor Design
and DP's from Magnolia.
Die cuts are also from Magnolia's DooHickey.

Hope you like it!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you will come back again!
