Anything Goes #87

Hi everybody!
Hope you are all doing well!
I know it's a bit early but I'm really starting to long for spring now.
We still have a couple of cold degrees but I think that it will slowly turn now.
Or maybe it's just wishful thinking...
While we are waiting for spring we set up a new challenge for you at Anything Goes.
The theme this time is "Make it Manly"
To be honest I wasn't very satisfied my my card this time,
till it struck me, I haven't coloured anything this time.....
Well, it became a card anyway, lol.

I used Basic Grey papers to make my shirt and took a ribbon for the tie.
The stamp you see in the background is a Magnolia stamp.
Then I painted some TH Crackle paint on the corrugated paper.
I finally added some metal in shape of a key, a hanger, gears
and some metal corners.
Take a trip to Craft Den, where you can find a lot of goodies to create with!

Now it's your turn to come up with some dazzling projects.
You can get your inspiration from my teamies here!
They have made some gorgeous projects!

Thank you for visiting me!

Anything Goes #86

Morning all blog friends!

We have a new challenge at Anything Goes!
And this time we want to see Vintage or Shabby Chic!
The image I have used is IndigoBlu's "Ella Bella". She is absolutely my favorite and I think she is gorgeous!
I've used the technique I learned when I visited England and Lynne's shop Craft Den last year.
Craft Den stock a bunch of IndigoBlu's stamps and of course other goodies!

I started by dabbing "FlitterGlu" on my rubber stamp and stamped it on a paper.
Then I scattered "Mega flakes, Winter Dawn" over the sticky area
and after that I brushed of the loose flakes with a scoochy sponge.
I inked the edges with distress ink, "Bundled Sage" around the image
and then I started decorate my easle card.

I painted a wood tag with crackle paint, Picket fence",
added the Spellbinder hearts with a sentiment from Magnolia.
The corners are from Melissa Frances and the DP's are from Prima and Magnolia.
In this picture you can see the flakes in another colour shade. On the first pic it almost looks black but it's difficult to take photos when the image reflect.
The frame is another Spellbinder die that I added some more crackle paint and this time I used "Old paper".
A close up on the Prima flowers with Distress Ink on the edges and some pearls to match.
Here you can see the tag better and also the little butterfly of metal.
As I said, difficult to take photos on a reflecting image.
This time it's silverish, lol.
Last but not least a butterfly from Magnolia's DooHickey.
I made the body of a string. Also inked the butterfly with Distress Ink.
Pop over to our challenge Anything Goes and get your inspiration from the DT.
They have all made a fabulous work!
