Anything Goes #87

Hi everybody!
Hope you are all doing well!
I know it's a bit early but I'm really starting to long for spring now.
We still have a couple of cold degrees but I think that it will slowly turn now.
Or maybe it's just wishful thinking...
While we are waiting for spring we set up a new challenge for you at Anything Goes.
The theme this time is "Make it Manly"
To be honest I wasn't very satisfied my my card this time,
till it struck me, I haven't coloured anything this time.....
Well, it became a card anyway, lol.

I used Basic Grey papers to make my shirt and took a ribbon for the tie.
The stamp you see in the background is a Magnolia stamp.
Then I painted some TH Crackle paint on the corrugated paper.
I finally added some metal in shape of a key, a hanger, gears
and some metal corners.
Take a trip to Craft Den, where you can find a lot of goodies to create with!

Now it's your turn to come up with some dazzling projects.
You can get your inspiration from my teamies here!
They have made some gorgeous projects!

Thank you for visiting me!

Anything Goes #86

Morning all blog friends!

We have a new challenge at Anything Goes!
And this time we want to see Vintage or Shabby Chic!
The image I have used is IndigoBlu's "Ella Bella". She is absolutely my favorite and I think she is gorgeous!
I've used the technique I learned when I visited England and Lynne's shop Craft Den last year.
Craft Den stock a bunch of IndigoBlu's stamps and of course other goodies!

I started by dabbing "FlitterGlu" on my rubber stamp and stamped it on a paper.
Then I scattered "Mega flakes, Winter Dawn" over the sticky area
and after that I brushed of the loose flakes with a scoochy sponge.
I inked the edges with distress ink, "Bundled Sage" around the image
and then I started decorate my easle card.

I painted a wood tag with crackle paint, Picket fence",
added the Spellbinder hearts with a sentiment from Magnolia.
The corners are from Melissa Frances and the DP's are from Prima and Magnolia.
In this picture you can see the flakes in another colour shade. On the first pic it almost looks black but it's difficult to take photos when the image reflect.
The frame is another Spellbinder die that I added some more crackle paint and this time I used "Old paper".
A close up on the Prima flowers with Distress Ink on the edges and some pearls to match.
Here you can see the tag better and also the little butterfly of metal.
As I said, difficult to take photos on a reflecting image.
This time it's silverish, lol.
Last but not least a butterfly from Magnolia's DooHickey.
I made the body of a string. Also inked the butterfly with Distress Ink.
Pop over to our challenge Anything Goes and get your inspiration from the DT.
They have all made a fabulous work!
Thank you for stopping by!

Anything Goes #85

Hi everyone!
Anything Goes challenge is here again with a new challenge and the theme is Monochrome!
I have coloured Saturated Canary´s Nevaeh in grey shades (but not in fifty, lol. Sorry, couldn't help myself)
As I'm new at using my Copics I always forget to write down the numbers on my colours.
I will be better at that, sorry.
But this time I know the numbers: C1, C3,C5 and C9
and for the skinn, guessing: E000,E00, E11 and R20. And for the eyes, B05.
The heart on the right, with the bow is a Magnolia Doo Hickey die as is the key and the heartborder.
The other heart is from my stash. The dp's are from Maja Design.

Have you noticed what I have left out this time....
........yes, glitter.... I don't know what I was thinking about!

This is the shop for you to visit: CRAFT DEN.
And if you are in the neighbourhood (as I will be, yay) check out my sidebar for Craft Den´s Workshops that Lynne has arranged.

New Challenge at Anything Goes and new team members!

Good morning!
I hope you enjoyed your weekend!
Today is Tuesday and that means a new Challenge at Anything Goes!
But before I tell you about it I would like to say Welcome to my new teamies:
Nikki, Judy, Carol, Janine and Kerry!
It will be a pleasure to work with you!

The theme of this fortnight's challenge is Buttons and Bows!
I've had been meaning to use this sweet Magnolia teddy for my Christmas cards but I never did.
But I think he can still decorate a winter card!
This time I used DI's to paint with, Bundled Sage and Pumice Stone
with a touch of Victorian Velvet.
Found some buttons and ribbons in my stash and some paper flowers.
The DP's are from Paper Cellar and I used dies from TH and Memory Box.
My sewing machine had to work for awhile and finally I added Snow Tex
around the edges, on the snowflakes and on the flowers.
Oh, almost forgot... the sentiment is from Magnolia :)

If you need to fill up your inventory with new products I recommend that you visit
Lynne's shop, Craft Den!

Get your gear out and join us this fortnight (here)
and also take the opportunity to admire the DT's wonderful work!

Thank you for stopping by and your are welcome to leave a comment ;)

Saturated Canary's Fancy

I have a confession to make...

I have fallen for Copics... :)
But since my stock of these pens wasn't that big, I just had to do something about it.
So last weekend I went to a fabulous store in Malmoe to increase my collection. You can imagine how hard it was to choose among all of the 300 (something) colours. But I managed to control myself and left the store with a reasonable (!?) amount of new Copics!
It's not hard to guess what I did when I got home....
Right, I started to colouring this beautiful image, "Fancy" from Saturated Canary. The colour choice fell on green (another surprice, lol)
As I said in an earlier post, I'm REALLY new at this so I'm still learning and trying :P

I have used papers from Bo Bunny and Floral ovals from SP. Metal corners, a lovely red flower with rose leaves and a rose charm.
The sentiment is a WOJ stamp.

Well, I hope you liked my card and my new skills :)
Thank you for visiting me today! <3 p="p">

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

A Winter card with Tilda

Here I am, back again with a new card!
I might as well head out hard while the creative spirit is overheated, lol.
I've actually had a few days off where I've had time to create some new cards.
So here she is, Snowy Tilda!
This fall I was one of the lucky to meet amazing Debbie Dolphin and to sit down with her at her Workshop.
She showed us how to paint Sepia, so I wanted to give it another try by myself.
This time I just used the colour "weathered wood".
I was quite suspicious at first but it actually turned out really nice. (at least I think so, lol)
The big snowflakes in the background and the treeline are dies from Tim Holtz.
The sentiments in swedish says " White Winter Greetings"!

Thank you for visiting me today and I hope you liked what you saw!

Happy New 2013 with Anything Goes

Welcome to my first post of 2013! And I wish you all a good and crafty 2013!
I introduces it with our first challenge at Anything Goes!
The theme is Just Good Friends!
I used a Nellie Snellen image "Smookie Moon" and his little mouse friend.
The shape of the card are a Spellie and so is the star. The papers are from maja Design.
There is a must ( according to me ;)) when you make a New Years card, and that is to use glitter, lol.
Well,, if you know me, I use glitter anyway :)

So join us for our first challenge this year at Anything Goes
and to get inspiration take a look at my teamies outstanding work.
If you lack some material for your project be sure to visit Craft Den!
Lynne has a whole bunch of product for you to play with.

Happy crafting!
